The Peach State Muslim Coalition (PSMC) endorses candidates who are using their platforms to advocate for policies that protect the best interests of Muslims and all marginalized communities in Georgia.

Why apply: PSMC engages our communities with their elected officials to strengthen relationships between lawmakers and their constituents. In our inaugural year of endorsements, we are seeking to build lasting relationships with legislators and Muslim community members, to contribute where we can to a diverse and thriving democracy.

Endorsement: An endorsement by PSMC includes: 

• High resolution endorsement graphic for your race in the state of Georgia

• Press release and social media/networks posts to all our contacts and networks

• Recommendations to our partners/members to volunteer and provide financial support

• Field and other support in some races provided through allied organizations

• Monetary support 

PSMC is dedicated to forming long-term relationships with candidates aligned with our community in various capacities. As such, certain candidates not selected for endorsement may still be selected for campaign support, with certain factors of endorsement offered in an effort of partnership, community building and mutual benefit.

We are now accepting applications for the GA 2024 General Primary Election. Please note that PSMC only endorses candidates and races in Georgia.

Candidates are required to complete and submit an application by April 5th, 2024. Currently, PSMC is prioritizing competitive partisan primary races and local nonpartisan races that will be decided in the May 21st election. If you are interested in an endorsement for the GA 2024 General Election, please apply for our general election endorsement by June 1, 2024.

Please take the time to complete this questionnaire with as much detail as possible. If your application is selected to advance in the endorsement process, you may be invited to an interview with members of the PSMC’s board and community. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis. An application does NOT guarantee endorsement and may be dependent on a combination of application review, vetting, candidate interviews, community feedback, and responses from candidates being submitted within requested deadlines.

Peach State Muslim Coalition will prioritize candidates who seek to partner with it and the Muslim community.  We are also committed to a fair partnership and will always consider candidate schedules and frequency of events when requesting attendance at any engagements prior to or after endorsement.
